What we do

We're turning local organic waste materials--food scraps, manure, yard waste--into compost. Instead of letting it rot and create methane in the landfill, we want to see it put to good use improving our soils.

Why we do it

When you compost your food waste, you give back to the earth that fed you. You keep CO2 out of the atmosphere and instead put carbon and nitrogen back into the soil, helping plants grow. Compost also increases water retention in soil, which helps with soil erosion and drought prevention. It's a simple and effective way to help our planet, and we're happy to do it!
